Welcome To The Blog!

The original idea for this trip was a flight to New Brunswick to see my Dad's family for about two weeks. But the idea has evolved into a five week road trip with limited resources and a lot of fun. Call it the "Toner Family Experiment" if you will. Or call it an adventure.

Riding Down a Mountain: NO BRAKES

Wondering about the title? It's true!
But lets start off this blog with saying that I'm now staying at my Uncle Ken's. I finally met my 2 year old cousin Cora Rose (I'm not sure if that's hyphenated...somebody call the grammar police), and I'm thrilled to see that Sam and Becca have grown up so much. Today we went to Blue Mountain, to the mountain coaster "Ridge Rider", a huge coaster on a ski hill. You have a passenger and a driver, the driver controlling how fast you careen down the huge hill. I didn't use the breaks at all, riding with fellow thrill-rider, Becca. We zoomed down the hill laughing and smiling. When we stopped at the end, we were refreshed.
It was a very, very hot day. We went for a hike, to the candy store, and for a drink. Then, we went in the sprinklers and Slip N Sliding.
Uncle Ken used to play bass, so I got to play his bass. It's a P Bass, maple Washburn brand with sweet strings, easy tuning, and fine sound. :3 <3 I'm in love.
The quest for a decent female D&D figurine continues! I cant find anything! When I'm back in the D&D club next year at school, I've decided on a certain character, and I'm going to need to buy or make my own figurine. I really dont wanna make one though. "Hi guys, this is my blob monster! I'd like to play him during battle scenes!" -.-
Time for some pictures.

 Hiking

I named my sandwich Geddy Lee so everybody would know its mine. Its an acquired taste. I added some Tenor sauce, and Fender on top. It got some jeers, it's an ugly looking sandwich, but it displayed grace under pressure. ;)
